Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment seeks an experienced Global Mobility Tax Director to advise multinational clients on employment tax, social security and personal tax issues linked to cross-border assignments and remote working.

You will work across a network of countries, shaping mobility strategies and guiding on tax equalisation, compliance, and cross-border structuring. This role offers direct client contact, fast-paced environments and opportunities to lead the practice’s growth.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in employment tax, global mobility or expatriate tax
• Qualified CTA, AITI or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of PAYE and social security coordination
• Experience with cross-border assignment structuring
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Advise multinational clients on employment tax, social security and personal tax issues for cross-border assignments and remote work
• Shape global mobility and workforce tax strategies for major clients
• Provide guidance on tax equalisation, tax protection and compliance frameworks
• Monitor employment tax across multiple jurisdictions and pre-empt payroll or permanent establishment risks
• Collaborate with legal, immigration and tax teams to deliver solutions
• Deliver training and thought leadership internally and for clients
• Build and nurture client relationships to influence practice direction
