Job summary

Primark Stores Limited is seeking a Legal Counsel for the Supply Chain function in Ireland. You’ll draft, negotiate, and advise on supply chain, logistics, warehousing, transport and technology agreements that support Primark's global operations.

You will partner with procurement and operations to provide pragmatic legal guidance on strategic initiatives, and deliver risk-based advice that balances commercial aims with regulatory demands.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 2-5 years' post-qualification experience.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Ability to provide clear, commercially pragmatic legal advice that supports business objectives while managing risk.
• Experience contributing to complex commercial projects with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong legal judgement and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic contract negotiations across supply chain, logistics, warehousing, transport and technology agreements.
• Partner with procurement, supply chain and operational teams to provide practical legal guidance on strategic initiatives and projects.
• Provide commercially focused legal advice balancing objectives with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Advise stakeholders on the legal impact of emerging legislation and industry developments affecting logistics and warehousing.
• Build trusted relationships across the business as a key legal partner for decision-making at strategic and operational levels.
• Enhance legal operations, manage external counsel where required, and champion efficient, high-quality legal support.
