Barden | B Corp in Ireland is seeking an Indirect Tax Specialist to own VAT, VIES, and platform reporting filings across multiple jurisdictions. The role is newly created to support growth, with a focus on leveraging AI and automation to reduce manual work and improve accuracy.

You will partner with Finance, Product and Tech from early on, assess tax implications of new products, assist audits, and help prepare for regimes like DAC7, MRDP and SERR.

Qualifikationen

• CTA or equivalent tax qualification is required or advantageous.
• Solid knowledge of EU VAT rules including place of supply, cross-border, OSS.
• Interest in digital platform reporting (DAC7, marketplace VAT) and AI/tools.

Aufgaben

• Own VAT, VIES, and platform reporting filings (DAC7, MRDP, SERR) across multiple jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Tech to ensure partner data is complete and ready to file.
• Support indirect tax audits and queries with external advisors.
• Use AI and automation to reduce manual work and share effective approaches with the finance team.
• Track regimes like ViDA and ESS and help the business prepare for them.
• Assess the tax impact of new products and revenue streams with Product, Tech, and Global Markets.
• Support month-end, year-end, and group audit, including indirect tax reconciliations and provision workings.
