Job summary

Reddit seeks a hands-on Global Indirect Tax Manager to own US S&U tax, VAT/GST, DSTs, and other transactional taxes across multiple jurisdictions. You will partner with product, finance, and operations to translate tax requirements into scalable processes, controls, and reporting.

This role reports to the International Tax Senior Manager and requires strong project management, analytical rigor, and a proactive, collaborative mindset. Experience leading audits and using Vertex is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, or related field.
• 6+ years of indirect tax experience in public accounting and/or multinational corporate tax.
• Experience with US and international indirect taxes including VAT/GST, S&U tax, and transactional taxes.

Responsibilities

• Manage key elements of Reddit’s global indirect tax function across B2B and B2C revenue streams.
• Oversee indirect tax registrations, return compliance, payments, exemption documentation, taxability determinations, and related controls across jurisdictions.
• Own and improve indirect tax processes and systems, including product and taxability mapping, exemptions, and data validation.
• Serve as the indirect tax partner for new products, commercial arrangements, and geographic expansion.
• Monitor evolving e-invoicing, reporting requirements, and perform reconciliations and control activities.
• Advise on indirect tax provisions in customer/vendor agreements and invoicing requirements.
