Job summary

Flutter Entertainment is seeking a Group Indirect Tax Assistant Manager to lead VAT and indirect tax across multi-jurisdictional operations from London, Dublin or Leeds. You will partner with Finance, Tax and business teams to design and operate the VAT framework, manage risks, and support audits and advisory work.

The role requires strong technical VAT knowledge, stakeholder management, and a professional qualification (CTA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Solid technical knowledge of VAT and indirect taxes across jurisdictions.
• Ability to interpret tax issues and provide practical, commercial advice.
• Understanding of tax operating models, controls and governance frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Professional qualification in tax, accounting or finance (CTA/ACA/ACCA).

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and advancement of the global Indirect Tax Operating Model.
• Act as SME on indirect tax process design, controls and governance.
• Partner with Finance, Transformation, Technology and Operations on model changes.
• Monitor effectiveness of processes, identify risk gaps and remediation actions.
• Document global indirect tax processes and operating procedures.
• Assist with group compliance and tax audits and queries.
• Provide VAT advisory support to stakeholders on business activities and transformations.
• Identify and mitigate VAT risks in line with tax strategy.
