Job summary

CS Recruitment seeks a senior governance leader to head the Funds Company Secretarial function in Ireland. The role oversees board support and entity management for complex alternative investment structures, including structures in Ireland and the Cayman Islands.

You will shape the operating model, drive transformation initiatives, and lead a high-performing governance team while partnering with senior stakeholders across multiple business lines.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years’ experience in corporate secretarial or governance roles within funds, fiduciary or legal environments.
• Strong knowledge of Irish and Cayman fund structures and governance requirements.
• Proven experience leading organisational change and operational transformation.
• Commercially strong with the ability to balance client, operational and financial priorities.
• Skilled stakeholder manager with excellent communication and relationship-building capability.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the funds company secretarial and board support function for alternative investment fund structures.
• Drive operating model enhancements, service standardisation and digital enablement.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex governance, regulatory and client matters.
• Strengthen governance frameworks, policies and service standards.
• Contribute to commercial growth, client retention and service excellence.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across multiple business lines.
• Build, mentor and develop a high-performing governance team.
