Job summary

SIG Susquehanna is seeking a hands-on production engineering professional based in Dublin to support business-critical trading systems during EMEA hours. You will learn end-to-end trading platforms, investigate issues using logs and metrics, and build automation to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• Two years of production engineering or similar role on business-critical systems.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to investigate issues via logs and system behavior.
• Ability to read Python code and write maintainable automation in Python, PowerShell or Bash.
• Hands-on experience with Linux or Windows, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line engineering support for live trading environments and readiness checks.
• Diagnose incidents across application, OS, network and database layers using logs, metrics and traces.
• Build and maintain automation and monitoring tools to improve reliability and reduce manual work.
• Configure, deploy and operate proprietary trading applications with controlled release and rollback.
• Coordinate global follow-the-sun operating model and inter-region handoffs.
• Analyze incidents to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Share operational guidance and lessons learned across regions.
