Job summary

BOYLE Sports is seeking a Financial Controller to lead day-to-day finance operations across retail and online divisions in Ireland. The role reports to the Finance Director and focuses on accurate reporting, strong controls, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

You will oversee general ledger, accounts payable, treasury, and consolidate results for multi-entity entities while driving efficiency and providing timely insights to support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction finance operations.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial management including general ledger, accounts payable, and treasury.
• Lead monthly/quarterly/annual reporting across entities and jurisdictions.
• Coordinate audits and ensure tax compliance and internal controls.
• Provide insights to the Finance Director and develop the finance team.
