Job summary

Stripe is seeking an experienced Entity Controller to join our International Accounting team in Dublin. You will lead the monthly close, oversee US GAAP and local books, and own statutory audit processes while partnering with Tax, Treasury and Legal to ensure accurate financial reporting.

An ACA/ACCA/CIMA background with 8+ years in accounting and consolidation is highly valued, alongside strong English communication and project-management skills within a fast-growing tech environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in accounting, Big 4 preferred.
• Experience with US GAAP and IFRS/FRS102.
• Knowledge of consolidation and financial reporting processes.
• Strong communication in English, cross-functional collaboration.
• Audits experience with central and local teams and tax filings.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close of US GAAP and local books with reconciliations and reporting.
• Own financial statement preparation and audit support.
• Maintain fluency with US GAAP and IFRS/FRS102 and produce technical memos.
• Collaborate with Tax, Transfer Pricing, Treasury, Corporate Accounting and Legal teams.
• Supervise finance outsourcing partners to ensure compliant filing.
• Drive process efficiency through simplification and automation.
• Stay informed on accounting and tax regulation changes in Ireland.
• Oversee preparation and review of direct and indirect tax returns.
