Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Sr. Manager, EHSS Assurance/Strategy/Standards/OE, to lead global EHSS governance and continuous improvement across LeAN, Six Sigma, and regulatory compliance.

This role collaborates with R&D, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to embed quality by design and risk-based decision making. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (Engineering/Life Sciences/EHSS) with 8–10 years in EHSS or Operational Excellence in regulated environments; Lean Six Sigma

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, EHSS, or related discipline.
• Master’s degree preferred (Engineering, Quality, Business, or related field).
• 8–10 years of progressive EHSS/Operational Excellence experience in regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHSS Assurance, Strategy, Standards, and OE initiatives across the organization.
• Deploy global standards, policies, and governance models.
• Drive continuous improvement with Lean and Six Sigma to improve quality and compliance.
• Partner with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Commercial teams.
• Lead audits and remediation to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Monitor EHSS metrics and identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Provide people leadership and development for EHSS/ OE teams.
• Support strategic initiatives, transformations, and business integrations.
