Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Fleet Remediation Project Design Mechanical Engineer to lead design projects in operational data centers, remediation efforts, upgrades, and the deployment of new services. You will provide lifecycle support from design through implementation across regional and global deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience in mission-critical facilities (data centers, power, cooling) preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret and review construction drawings and submittals.
• Strong engineering judgment with detail and data orientation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and equipment submittal reviews for data centers in your region.
• Interface with data center design engineering teams, server hardware, safety, field, and controls engineering to promote standards.
• Manage concurrent projects across multiple regions and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure reliability and availability.
• Provide design recommendations and field observations, and support construction, commissioning and turnover.
