Job summary

Apple is seeking a Distribution & Inventory Operations Lead to manage asset distribution, servicing and tracking for Apple branded Original Content. You will supervise an international team, coordinating with internal partners to ensure timely delivery and complete inventory accuracy across video, audio, and ancillary assets.

Role requires strong asset management experience, leadership, and familiarity with digital archival principles and post-production workflows.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Asset Management Operations in a studio or similar setting.
• Strong understanding of asset management standards and fulfilment practices.
• Demonstrated track record of leading teams and handling confidential information with integrity.
• Willing to work nights and weekends; travel up to 5% (domestic and international).
• Knowledge of digital archival principles and delivery best practices; post-production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day asset scheduling, tracking, and verification for Apple TV digital supply chain.
• Collaborate with Mastering, Localisation, Distribution, and Ingest Operations to identify and deliver assets (video, audio, timed text).
• Monitor milestones and due dates; expedite materials for distribution and ensure service delivery.
• Ensure title/series metadata is present in inventory and tracking systems.
• Provide enablement and support for inventory servicing internally and to external endpoints.
• Monitor delivery queues to meet high-priority orders and SLAs.
• Implement and communicate leadership vision across the team for inbound inventory and outbound distribution.
• Deliver daily status updates and reporting metrics across multiple teams.
• Develop and maintain tooling/workflows to support priorities.

We have a new opportunity for a Distribution & Inventory Operations Lead to manage the asset distribution, servicing and tracking for Apple branded Original Content. Your responsibilities will include overseeing an international team in support of: Working with internal and external partners, tracking ingestion & facilitating delivery of all video, audio, and ancillary assets, defining expectations, managing exceptions, troubleshooting rejections and various platform functionality, with the number one goal of ensuring the complete delivery from vendors and servicing of validated inventory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day scheduling, tracking, and verification of assets incoming from 3rd party vendors through the Apple TV digital supply chain.
• Collaborate with the Mastering, Localisation, Distribution, and Ingest Operations teams to identify, order, and execute deliverables (video, audio, and timed text) for internal stakeholders.
• Monitor all milestone and delivery due dates, and oversee urgent timelines to ensure all ordered materials are expedited for distribution tasks for platform, and all ordered services are received.
• Ensure all title/series information and metadata is available in inventory & tracking systems.
• Enablement and support for inventory servicing needs (both internal to Apple TV platform and for external end points).
• Monitor delivery queues ensuring high priority orders and SLAs are met.
• Ensure leadership vision is executed across the wider team in both incoming asset inventory and outbound distribution and servicing needs are fulfilled.
• Provide daily status updates and reporting metrics on activities across multiple teams.
• Tooling and workflow development and maintenance to support and enhance the priorities defined above.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven demonstrable experience in Asset Management Operations at a studio, television network, or high level industry-related facility.
• You have a strong working understanding of asset management standards and common fulfilment practices.
• A proven track record of building and maintaining trust as a team lead.
• Direct experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
• Available to work nights and weekends as and when is required.
• Up to 5% + travel required; both domestic and international.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of digital archival principle, industry standard file formats and delivery best practices.
• High proficiency in post production workflows and related assets. Strong Asset Management experience in the realm of digital media.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and understanding of episodic and movie servicing workflows.
• Knowledgeable of Audio/Video containers, codecs, and file formats.
• Strong, working understanding of domestic and localised international versioning (multiple languages, version control).
• Deep familiarity with the Apple ecosystem of services and hardware (macOS, iOS, Apple Music, App Store, Books, Podcasts, Apple tv+, Vision Pro, Fitness+ etc.).
• You work well under pressure with trusted experience working on complex, international, large-scale, and time-critical projects.
• The ability to handle multiple projects and can thrive in dynamic environments.
• Experience with implementation and management of SOP documentation.
• Strong presentation skills with ability to deliver impactful presentations at all levels of the organisation
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture and know when to delegate to team DRIs.
• A dedicated self-starter who demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.
• Poised under pressure and results driven.
