Job summary

Novartis Ireland Ltd. is seeking an Innovation Capability Director for Global Clinical Operations in Dublin.

This hybrid role focuses on leading the identification, implementation and scaling of innovative recruitment and patient engagement solutions for worldwide clinical trials. You will partner with global study teams, technology providers and cross-functional stakeholders to transform ideas into scalable capabilities that deliver measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare or related discipline.
• At least five years’ clinical trial innovation or solution delivery experience.
• At least seven years’ experience in pharmaceutical clinical drug development and strong understanding of clinical trial operations.
• Proven digital patient recruitment expertise, including digital marketing strategies to identify and engage potential trial participants.
• Experience applying digital tools and AI-enabled methods to patient recruitment, selection or matching in clinical trials.
• Strong project management, influencing and problem-solving capabilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead adoption and scaling of innovative recruitment solutions for clinical trials.
• Partner with global study teams, technology providers and stakeholders to deliver recruitment innovations.
• Drive governance, risk management and continuous improvement of innovation initiatives.
• Evaluate digital, data-driven and AI-enabled approaches to improve patient identification and engagement.
• Develop scalable frameworks and best practices that support sustainable adoption of recruitment innovations.
• Identify emerging technologies and trends to strengthen organizational capability and innovation leadership.
• Influence strategy and represent Novartis across the clinical research ecosystem.
