Google in Dublin, Ireland seeks a Global Category Manager for Data Centers to drive strategic sourcing for data center infrastructure and supplier management. The role partners with engineering, operations and finance to optimize total cost of ownership and delivery of critical infrastructure at scale.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
• 4 years of experience in sourcing, negotiating agreements, and supplier development.
• Experience in commodity management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sourcing and supply chain objectives for data center infrastructure products.
• Develop and execute category strategies to achieve total cost of ownership, lead time, capacity, innovation and quality objectives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct complex strategic technology discussions, including contractual agreements to deliver cost, lead time and capacity objectives.
• Implement supply chain, inventory and process improvements through supplier performance metrics and regular business reviews.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sourcing and supply chain objectives for products in the data center infrastructure space.
• Develop and execute category strategies to achieve total cost of ownership, lead time, capacity, innovation and quality objectives for the products managed through close collaboration with Google cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, operations, finance, etc.).
• Conduct complex strategic technology discussions, including comprehensive contractual agreements to deliver cost, lead time and capacity objectives for the organization.
• Implement supply chain, inventory and process improvements through supplier performance metrics, scorecards, business continuity plans and regular business reviews.
