TEXVIA is seeking an Automation Engineer to join our Cork team. You will design, develop and troubleshoot PLC-based automation projects for international clients, including on-site engagements.

The role requires 1–3 years in industrial automation, strong PLC skills, and fluency in English to communicate across teams. You will collaborate with engineering, project and commissioning groups to ensure successful delivery, document issues and improvements, and travel as needed to support global

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation.
• Strong experience with PLCs including programming, troubleshooting and commissioning.
• Solid understanding of control systems, electrical schematics and field instrumentation.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel internationally for short-term assignments.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot PLC-based industrial automation systems.
• Provide engineering design support and on-site/remote technical assistance to global clients.
• Collaborate with engineering, project, and commissioning teams to ensure system performance and integration.
• Document technical issues, solutions, and process improvements within internal systems.
• Communicate effectively with international clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
