Glanua Graduate Programme is a two-year structured development track designed for recent graduates. It blends hands-on project work with exposure to Glanua's water and wastewater business, including international rotations to Portugal or the UK as opportunities arise.
You will rotate through multiple disciplines, gaining experience across engineering, operations and support functions, with mentoring and formal training throughout the programme.
Two year structured development programme – start September 2027
Build your career through a two-year programme that combines substantial hands‑on experience with wider exposure to Glanua's water and wastewater business.
Glanua is an industry leader in providing innovative and sustainable engineering solutions to design, build, operate and maintain critical water and wastewater infrastructure across Ireland and the UK. We are a trusted provider to the municipal and industrial sectors, working with some of Ireland's and the UK's largest water utilities.
We are passionate about solving environmental challenges and contributing to a decarbonised and sustainable world. We provide an inclusive environment where people have the freedom to develop and reach their full potential, guided by our values of Safety and Well-being, Innovation, Integrity, Collaboration, Courage, Agility, Accountability, Diversity and Inclusion.
The Glanua Graduate Programme is designed for recent graduates beginning their careers in the water and wastewater industry. Through practical experience, structured rotations, mentoring and professional development, you will gain a broad understanding of Glanua's projects, operations and business functions, and how they work together to deliver and maintain essential water infrastructure.
There will be one 12-month in-depth rotation, as well as another two 6-month rotations across other areas of the business. Rotation areas are mapped towards each discipline and for Engineering would cover different stages of a project lifecycle, or for HR, Sustainability, Finance and Health and Safety would ensure exposure to multiple aspects of that discipline within the business.
Depending on business requirements and suitable opportunities, graduates may have the opportunity to complete one of the six-month rotations in Portugal or the UK. International placements are not guaranteed and will be subject to operational requirements, individual suitability and any applicable travel or work eligibility requirements.
As a Graduate, you will work with experienced teams across Glanua, supporting live projects, operational activities and business functions. You will gain both office- and site-based experience, build an understanding of the municipal and industrial sectors, and take on greater responsibility as your knowledge, skills and confidence develop.
Previous experience gained through an internship, work placement, summer role, volunteering or university project is beneficial but not essential.
On successful completion of the programme, graduates may be considered for permanent roles within Glanua, subject to individual performance, suitable vacancies and business requirements.
Glanua Limited is an equal opportunities employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace and welcome applications from suitably qualified candidates from all backgrounds.
