Qualifikationen

• Experience in a nursing home environment or relevant care setting.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support is desirable.
• Knowledge of and experience in dementia care.

Aufgaben

• Maximise the independence of residents and support their quality of life.
• Deliver high standards of holistic care while promoting dignity and equality.
• Assist with activities of daily living under supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Contribute to social, recreational and educational activities.
• Support residents' emotional and physical comfort.
• Report changes in residents' health to care team.
• Maintain a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.
• Assist with serving meals and accommodate dietary needs.
