Job summary

Cowper Care Centre in Kilternan, Dublin 18, is seeking a part-time Healthcare Assistant to support residents at Glebe House Nursing Home.

The role is 20 hours per week with some weekends and nights, offering an opportunity to provide person-centred care and assist with daily living activities under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Experience in a nursing home and strong English are required; QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in a nursing home environment or relevant care experience.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Dementia care knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities under supervision.
• Assist with washing, toileting, dressing, dining and mobility.
• Promote dignity and quality of life for residents.
• Contribute to social, recreational and educational activities.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
