Job summary

Marsh in Dublin is seeking a mid-level software engineer to own features end-to-end, working on AI-powered and data‑driven solutions. You will collaborate across the Dublin and international Innovation teams, contribute to design discussions, and ship production‑grade applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and AI tooling.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years solid software engineering experience.
• Experience delivering production-grade applications.
• Strong JS/TS development with React/Vue/Angular.
• Backend experience with Node.js/NestJS.
• Python experience for AI workflows.
• Experience integrating AI into real‑world products.
• Hands-on with LLMs, prompts, tools and outputs.
• Familiarity with RAG, embeddings and retrieval pipelines.
• Exposure to AWS and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Own medium-scale features end-to-end with guidance as needed.
• Contribute to design discussions with technical reasoning.
• Build AI-powered and conventional applications addressing real business needs.
• Collaborate with Dublin and international Innovation teams.
• Work in an Agile environment emphasizing experimentation and learning.
• Stay hands-on with AI tools, models, and techniques.
• Create reusable components, tools, and patterns for the team.
• Mentor juniors through code reviews and pairing.
