Qualifications

• Age 18–39 years
• Height at least 157.48 cm (5 ft 2 in)
• No tattoos visible above collar
• Must meet working permit eligibility to stay in Ireland (5+ years)
• Pass medical, physical and security clearance during recruitment process

Responsibilities

• Participate in basic recruit training (twelve weeks) and 3-star course (twelve weeks)
• Potential postings to Defence Forces locations; assignment to a Unit in the Brigade you apply to
• Seek opportunities for further courses and specialization after qualification
