Job summary

The Defence Forces invite applicants to become Air Corps Recruits for General Service. Enlistment offers a dynamic, disciplined environment with comprehensive training and international service opportunities.

Initial recruitment includes 13 weeks of basic Recruit Training followed by 12 weeks of Three Star Training, after which you may be promoted to Airman or Airwoman and posted to the Air Corps with avenues to specialise in multiple roles.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years old and under 39 years old.
• Height at least 5ft 2in (157.48 cm).
• No tattoos visible above the collar while serving in the Defence Forces.
• Must meet working permit eligibility to stay in Ireland (minimum of 5 years).
• Must meet medical, physical and security clearance standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete 13 weeks of basic Recruit Training.
• Complete 12 weeks of Three Star Training and be promoted to Airman/Airwoman.
• Post to the Air Corps and have the opportunity to specialise in various roles.
