Centric Health Meadow Springs in Limerick is seeking a General Practice Nurse to join our team. The role focuses on clinical nursing, health promotion and screening within GP practices, delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced community setting.

The ideal candidate is a Registered General Nurse with NMBI, experienced in phlebotomy, and demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 40-hour week, permanent full-time contract, on-site in Limerick.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered General Nurse with the NMBI.
• Experienced in Phlebotomy.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and telephone skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Flexible attitude to changing work practices.
• Must be living in Ireland with an Irish address at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Immunisation: administer infant, childhood, influenza, and travel vaccines.
• Chronic disease management: cholesterol testing, BP monitoring, nursing management of COPD & diabetes.
• Female health: cervical screening and family planning.
• Sexual health: STI screening and health advice.
• General nursing duties: health promotion, telephone triage, ear irrigation.
