Market Square Surgery in Kinvara is seeking a General Practice Nurse to join a friendly team. The role is two full days a week with potential for more hours in the future, working closely with two GPs and the wider practice team.

The successful candidate will deliver patient-centred care across a range of nursing services, with experience in general practice and familiarity with practice software considered an advantage.

Qualificações

• Registered General Nurse with current registration with NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland).
• Relevant nursing qualifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Administration of childhood, adult, and travel vaccinations.
• Participation in the CDM Programme.
• Phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Health promotion, screening, and patient education.
• Wound care and basic clinical procedures.
• Carry out cervical smear test.
• Supporting preventative care initiatives.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records using practice software.
• Working collaboratively with GPs and the wider practice team.
• Ensuring high standards of infection control and patient safety.
