Job summary

CREGG Group is seeking a General Operator for a full-time role at Clara, Co. Offaly, an international medical device packaging site. The role involves testing, inspecting, packing finished goods, and assisting with machine setup across production areas.

Strong GMP, safety adherence, and teamwork are essential. Own transport is required due to site location. Contract initially for 3 months with potential to extend.

Responsibilities

• Testing finished product on the production floor and recording results on designated quality approved documentation.
• Monitoring and inspection of all finished product manufactured in his/her area.
• Packing finished product and labeling for shipping to Warehouse packing area.
• Assisting with machine setup in the area.
• Maintaining a clean area and upholding GMP and Health & Safety standards.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
• Flexible in taking on other work as assigned by the company from time to time.
• Ensure safe working practices, including wearing PPE.
• Acquire knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and work instructions.
• Comply with Health & Safety policies and promote safe behaviors and safe systems of work.

CREGG are looking forGeneral Operatives – Full Time work in Clara, Co. Offaly. Our client is an internationalmedical device packaging company.

Reporting to the AVS, the General Operator would be responsible for the testing, inspecting and packing of all finished product in all NHP Ireland Ltd production areas.

Own transport is essential due to site location and hours of work.

Job Responsibilities / Description:

• Testing of finished product being produced on production floor and recording results on designated quality approved documentation.
• Monitoring and inspection of all finished product being manufactured in his/her area.
• Packing of all finished product in his/her area and labeling of product with correct information for shipping to Warehouse packing area.
• Taking an active role in helping with the set-up of machines in his/her area.
• Taking an active role in keeping his/her area of work clean and tidy and maintaining the highest standard of GMP and Health & Safety.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• A General operator will be required to be flexible in his/her position and must be prepared to undertake such other work as may be assigned by the company from time to time. Such work can be outside the area of his/ her normal duties.
• Ensure that safe working practices are adhered to at all times, including wearing PPE as appropriate.
• Acquire knowledge of Health & Safety procedures, work instructions, and associated documentation.
• Comply with all Health & Safety Policies and instructions and actively contribute to Company efforts to promote safe behaviors and safe systems of work

Hours of work:

• Monday – Thursday, 7 45am to 4 45pm.
• Friday 7 45am to 12 45pm.

Guaranteed 39 hours a week.

Rate of Pay:

• €14.15 per hour.

Job requirements – General Operator:

• Good teamwork and communication skills are essential.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Decision making ability coupled with the ability to work on one’s own initiative and with minimum supervision required.
• Sound problem solving skills
• General Operations experience is desirable

Contract Type:

• 3-month contract
• Please note role has very good potential of becoming along term/permanent position, for the right candidates.
