Job summary

Keogh's Crisps is seeking General Operatives for the Crisp Factory to join a busy production team. The role entails working on the production lines, quality checks, packing products, and preparing orders for distribution.

Initial training will be provided in Oldtown, Co. Dublin, with the position based at either Oldtown or St. Margaret's. The roster is 3 days on, 4 days off, with typical pay starting at €14.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Manual work experience is required.
• Good team work and communication skills are essential.
• Own transport is required as public transport is unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Operate on production lines with attention to detail.
• Set up machines and bag products.
• Reject out-of-specification items.
• Ensure conformance to specifications and quality standards.
• Report and address quality and safety issues.
• Follow HACCP and health and safety practices.
• Maintain tidy workstation and housekeeping.
• Operate lifting equipment and pallet/forklift trucks where applicable.
• Perform general factory duties.

We are recruiting:

General Operatives - Production, Crisping House (Crisp Factory).

Please note:

Full training will be provided.

This role involves working on the production line, carrying out product quality checks, packing products, and preparing orders for distribution. As part of a team, you will use your practical skills to work efficiently, accurately, and with excellent attention to detail.

Location

As we are currently establishing a new production facility, this role will be based in either Oldtown, Co. Dublin, or St. Margaret's, Swords, Co. Dublin. Initial training will be provided in Oldtown, Co. Dublin.

Working Hours:

The Crisp Factory operates on a 3 days on, 4 days off roster, with full-time hours worked across three days.

Key Areas of The Role:

• Working on the production lines, you must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Setting up machines and bagging product.
• Rejecting out-of-specification product.
• Ensuring conformance to specifications.
• Reporting and addressing issues of quality and safety.
• Adhering to HACCP and Health and safety practices at all times.
• Ensuring the workstation is kept in excellent order with regards to housekeeping.
• Using lifting equipment, pallet trucks and/ forklift trucks (not all roles).
• General Factory duties.

Essential Requirements:

• Manual work experience.
• Own transport as no public transport available in the area.
• Good team work skills.
• Good Communication Skills.
