Job summary

Keogh’s Crisps in Ireland is seeking a General Operative – Production for our crisp factory. The role involves working on the production line, quality control, packing and loading product for distribution, with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail. Full training will be provided, and the position is based in Oldtown or St.

Margaret’s, with initial training in Oldtown, Co. Dublin. The role requires manual work, good teamwork and communication skills, and means a 3 days-on, 4 days-off

We are recruiting: General Operative – Production (Crisp Factory)

Please note: full training will be provided.

The roles involve working on the production line, quality control of product, packing and loading product for distribution etc. Working as part of a team, you will be applying practical skills, working quickly, accurately and with excellent attention to detail.

Location

As we are currently establishing a new production facility, this role will be based in eitherOldtown, Co. Dublin,orSt. Margaret’s, Swords, Co. Dublin.Initial training will be provided in Oldtown, Co. Dublin.

Key Areas of The Role:

• Working on the production lines, you must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Setting up machines and bagging product.
• Rejecting out-of-specification product.
• Ensuring conformance to specifications.
• Reporting and addressing issues of quality and safety.
• Adhering to HACCP and Health and safety practices at all times.
• Ensuring the workstation is kept in excellent order with regards to housekeeping.
• Using lifting equipment, pallet trucks and/ forklift trucks (not all roles).
• General Factory duties.

Working Hours:

• Crisps are rostered for 3 days on 4 days off (Full-time hours over 3 days).
