Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Ireland is seeking a production team member for our fixed evening shift, 16:30–01:00 Monday to Thursday and 13:00–20:00 Friday. You will help ensure products are made to specification and that safety protocols are followed at all times.

This role focuses on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement, with training support and a range of benefits. We offer development opportunities, health screening, pension, and an inclusive, family-friendly working environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all health & safety requirements including PPE usage.
• Maintain current best working practices and help introduce new ones.
• Assist in the training and development of crew members.
• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed; all required quality checks are completed, and that all product is produced to specification.
• Ensure the highest quality of work and waste is kept to a minimum.
• Make a concerted effort to achieve maximum production.
• Report any non-conformities to the Shift Supervisor immediately.
• Maintain general housekeeping standards around the work area.
• Report any maintenance requirements to the Shift Supervisor immediately.
• Work in accordance with all company certifications and safety requirements.

The Role

• To always ensure they are adhering to all Health & Safety requirements including all PPE is utilised.
