Job summary

Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing is currently recruiting for a General Operative to join our team in Dungarvan. This role supports the EHS & Facilities team with day-to-day upkeep of the site, ensuring buildings, grounds and utilities are clean, safe, audit-ready and well maintained.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a general operative, facilities, maintenance or site services role is desirable.
• Experience in a GMP, laboratory, production or regulated environment would be an advantage.
• Full, clean driving license is essential.
• Forklift license or materials-handling experience is an advantage.
• Good organisational and basic computer skills.
• A practical, reliable and proactive approach to work.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high safety and housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Supporting general facilities and maintenance activities across the site.

• Carrying out minor repairs, painting and general upkeep.
• Supporting preventative maintenance and routine site safety checks.
• Maintaining plant rooms, stores and external areas to a high standard.
• Supporting contractors and approved external vendors onsite.
• Assisting with cleaning and sanitisation activities when required.
• Participating in site Fire Warden, Spill Response and Waste Management teams.

This is a varied, hands-on role supporting our EHS & Facilities team with the day-to-day upkeep of our site, including buildings, grounds, utilities and support areas. You’ll help ensure the site is maintained to a high standard and remains safe, clean, organised and audit-ready.

• Carrying out minor repairs, painting and general upkeep
• Supporting preventative maintenance and routine site safety checks
• Maintaining plant rooms, stores and external areas to a high standard
• Supporting contractors and approved external vendors onsite
• Assisting with cleaning and sanitisation activities when required
• Participating in site Fire Warden, Spill Response and Waste Management teams

What we’re looking for:

Working hours: 39 hours per week, generally 9:30am to 5:45pm, with a later finish of 6:00pm on Wednesdays. The role also requires an additional Saturday one week in every four.
