Job summary

Maria Logan Recruitment is helping a family-run pub in Wicklow appoint a General Manager to run day-to-day operations and lead a great team in a warm, traditional Irish setting. You will oversee service standards, stock, rotas and costs, while building strong relationships with locals and visitors and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

This is a hands-on, autonomous role for an experienced pub manager who loves the pub environment.

General Manager - Traditional Pub

MLR are delighted to be recruiting a General Manager for a gorgeous, family-run pub located in a beautiful rural village in Co.Wicklow.

This is a traditional drinks-led pub with no food offering, and the role is all about taking ownership of the day-to-day running of the business, looking after a great team and creating the warm, welcoming atmosphere that keeps locals and visitors coming back.

We are looking for a real pub person - someone who understands what makes a great local tick.You'll oversee the team, standards, stock, rotas, costs and general operations, while building strong relationships with customers and becoming a key part of the local community.There is plenty of autonomy in the role, and the family are looking for someone they can trust to manage the pub as if it were their own.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Pub Manager, Bar Manager or General Manager who loves the traditional Irish pub environment and would enjoy working in a beautiful part of Wicklow.
