Job summary

INFORM3 Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for a General Foreman role on a Residential – Houses project in North Louth. The position reports to the Company Director and requires leadership of on-site teams, subcontractors, and coordination with design teams and authorities.

The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Construction Management or related field and a minimum of five years’ experience as a Site Manager on housing developments, with an engineering background

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years proven experience as a Site Manager on housing developments
• Degree in Construction Management or similar
• Engineering background desirable
• Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines

Responsibilities

• Coordination and supervision of the construction of Residential development
• Be the number one on site for all activities and act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team
• Report into and support the Company Director
• Oversee commercial and residential projects and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors and consult with local authorities when needed
• Managing sub-contractors and personnel on site to ensure that productivity levels are high
• Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, procurement of materials, and meeting deadlines
• Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site
• Perform company compliance and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations
• Host tool box talks and meetings with direct staff to outline the works required and meetings with clients to update them on the progress of the project

About the Company

Working on a housing development in Louth with a reputable Building & Civils Contractor. This main contractor specialises in social housing, educational developments and renovation/ conservation work.

The Role
