Job summary

Aurivo operates a large multi-purpose Co-operative, and this role is in the Garden Centre department at Homeland Sligo. You will greet customers, handle queries and transactions, manage stock, and ensure displays meet high standards to maximise sales and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have retail or sales experience, especially in Agriculture, with strong communication, attention to detail, initiative, and a proactive, team‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Previous retail/sales experience is advantageous, especially in Agri.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with customers queries, ensuring customer retention and satisfaction.
• Dealing with transactions including cash management
• Inventory management and stock control
• Merchandising ensuring all areas of the store are presented to the highest standard
• Developing a working knowledge of the Core system
• Adhoc tasks, duties and projects as required
