Job summary

Rentokil Initial Group is seeking a Pest Control Technician to cover Galway City and parts of county Oranmore. No prior experience is required as we provide industry-leading training and a comprehensive induction.

This is a full-time role with a 39-hour week and a Monday–Friday schedule. The base salary starts at €30,300 per annum, paid monthly, with expected OTE around €36,000 through bonus and commission schemes.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence held for more than two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management to handle a busy workload.
• Enthusiasm to engage with every customer and identify opportunities to generate new business.

Responsibilities

• Inspect customer premises for signs of pests and identify potential risks.
• Swiftly tackle pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour.
• Offer valuable advice to customers on maintenance and hygiene of their premises.
• Complete accurate reports after every visit.
• Provide exceptional customer service and uphold a professional image at all times.
