Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Pest Control Technician to cover Galway City and parts of Oranmore. This full-time role offers comprehensive training and the chance to manage your own schedule while solving customer pest issues in person.

You will inspect premises, tackle pests, advise on maintenance and produce accurate reports, with a pathway to career development and a company pension plus RI Rewards.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Role

Your role as a Pest Control Technician will involve covering a dedicated geographical area and providing support to our customers by resolving their pest issues.

Key responsibilities include:

• Inspecting customer premises for signs of pests and identifying potential risks.
• Swiftly tackling pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour.
• Offering valuable advice to customers on the maintenance and hygiene of their premises.
• Completing accurate reports after every visit.
• Providing exceptional customer service and upholding a professional image at all times.

• Good Time Management - Your day will be busy with managing and prioritising your workload
• Enthusiasm is required to engage with every one of your customers, smile, say hello, and identify any opportunities to generate new business.
