Job summary

Boston Scientific Galway is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Graduate Engineer to join our Galway team on a permanent basis. You’ll learn from experienced colleagues and gain hands-on experience in manufacturing, product development and continuous improvement.

As a Graduate Engineer you may support Operations, New Product Development or Sustaining Engineering, applying Six Sigma and Lean principles to deliver quality, cost and delivery improvements while advancing your skills to help

Qualifications

Hons Bachelor Degree (Level 8) in engineering or science is essential.
Graduated within the past two years or currently in the final year of university.
Relevant work experience or completion of a co-op program.
Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

Build quality into all aspects of work by complying with quality requirements.
Define and implement quality standards and specifications.
Identify and resolve moderately complex exceptions to work assignments.
Participate in new product and technology transfers to gain experience.
Apply Six Sigma, statistical analysis and Lean to investigate and improve quality.
Familiarity with validation techniques and regulatory requirements.
