Job summary

Apleona is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to join our Galway City team. The role covers mechanical, electrical, and general building fabric maintenance, with a focus on preventative maintenance and fast response to issues.

You will work with the service desk and site engineers, maintain records in the CMMS/CAFM system, and support energy-saving initiatives while ensuring safety and compliance. Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4pm, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Mechanical trades or diploma in engineering.
• Experience in utilities/facilities environments.
• Basic computer knowledge essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical, and general building fabric maintenance.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance as per CMMS/CAFM system.
• Identify and remedy maintenance issues to maximise uptime.
• Respond to queries promptly to ensure service levels.
• Maintain records and assist in installation of new plant and equipment.
