Job summary

Apleona Ireland is seeking a Mobile Electrician to join our Dublin-based team, working on client sites to maintain plant equipment and machinery. You will perform planned maintenance, diagnose faults, read project plans, and coordinate with multi-skilled teams to ensure maximum uptime and safe operations.

A practical, hands-on attitude and strong customer service are essential; driving manual vehicles is required. Working pattern is Monday to Friday 8-4 or 9-5, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Electrical Senior Trades or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience in Utilities / Facilities.
• Proven track record in preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Methodical, analytical and enthusiastic approach with attention to detail.
• Team player with excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting ability.
• Must be physically fit; driving licence with manual gearbox preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical maintenance of plant equipment and machinery at client sites.
• Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPMs) and fault resolution.
• Read and interpret project plans and coordinate with labour crew.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and maintain records.
• Sourcing and stocking of spare parts to maintain minimum stock levels.
• Overtime may be required to cover out-of-hours work.
• Report accidents and incidents to line manager.

Job description

At Apleona Ireland, we are looking for an Mobile Electrician to join our team in Dublin areas

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 8-4 or 9-5

Based at our client sites you will take ownership in providing electrical maintenance of plant equipment and machinery. Working alongside our multiskilled maintenance and facilities teams, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum up-times for electrical components.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Must be able to work well with their hands and understand the complexities of their area of work.
• Using and maintaining specialised machines and tools.
• Assembling components ready for installation.
• Reading and interpreting project plans.
• Coordinating with the labour crew for efficient installations.
• Carrying out planned maintenance checks and responding to emergency calls.
• Conserving resources to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction.
• Carry out PPMs on equipment and fault resolution / repairs to broken down equipment.
• Maintain appropriate records in line with requirements.
• Assist in the installation of new plant and equipment.
• Ensure any training deemed necessary is completed.
• Sourcing and stocking of spare parts as required to ensure minimum stock levels are maintained
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and legislative requirements.
• Report any accident, incidents and out of place findings to the line manager.
• Always maintain the workshop areas in a tidy condition.
• You may be asked to work overtime to cover out of hours work.
