Job summary

ESB is seeking STEM graduates with less than two years’ experience for its Technical Graduate Programme, offering structured development, real responsibility, and the chance to contribute to Ireland’s Net Zero by 2040 strategy.

You’ll work on energy infrastructure projects, design and plan the electricity network of the future, and support ESB’s generation fleet and telecoms networks across Ireland.

Qualifications

• Masters, Honours or Ordinary degree (or near completion in 2027) in Electrical/Telecoms, Civil/Structural, Mechanical/Energy Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum Second Class Honours Grade 1 (2.1) result.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to learn quickly.
• Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver energy infrastructure projects across Ireland, with opportunities to be involved at every stage of the project lifecycle.
• Design, plan and build the electricity network of the future.
• Support ESB's telecoms network and help optimise customers' energy use.
