Job summary

Fortis Recruitment in Dublin is seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee month-end close for a leading hedge fund. You will own journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis, with exposure to AUM calculations and fund returns.

The role offers broad interaction with Middle Office, Ops and IR, and exposure to complex fund structures. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in public accounting, fund administration or asset management, with a strong analytical mindset and a focus

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in public accounting, fund administration or asset management.
• Exposure to asset management or alternative asset structures preferred.
• Analytical, multi-tasker, career focused.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close across multiple legal entities.
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monthly, quarterly and annual variance analysis.

• Liaise with fund administrators on monthly reporting.
