Job summary

GP Fund Solutions is seeking a Fund Controller to drive accurate financial reporting for multiple clients and oversee audits and tax work with external partners.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring the team, and ensuring internal controls are robust, while building strong client relationships and delivering consistent results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting deliverables across multiple clients.
• Review client financial statements, partner capital statements, and other key reports.
• Provide technical accounting expertise and industry insights to clients.
• Coordinate and oversee the external audit process and annual tax reporting in partnership with third‑party firms.
• Prepare and review partner capital calls, waterfall models, distribution notices, and management fee calculations.
• Lead, train, and mentor team members with clear objectives and feedback.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting deliverables across multiple clients.
• Review client financial statements, partner capital statements, and other key reports.
• Provide technical accounting expertise and industry insights to clients.
• Coordinate and oversee the external audit process, as well as annual tax reporting in partnership with third-party accounting firms.
• Prepare and review partner capital calls, waterfall models, distribution notices, and management fee calculations.
• Lead, train, and mentor team members by setting clear objectives, providing coaching, and delivering performance feedback.
• Ensure the team’s compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, effectively managing expectations and consistently meeting deliverables.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
