Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is partnering with a global organisation to recruit a Fund Accounting Supervisor in Ireland. The role focuses on accurate NAV production, expense schedules, income calculations and capital activity for a range of funds.

You will maintain controls across the NAV production cycle, lead fund launches, and act as the main client contact for fund accounting matters. You will train and mentor analysts while supporting performance and career development.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in fund operations, including alternative funds.
• Ability to manage NAV production lifecycle and fee calculations.
• Experience reviewing trial balances, GL entries, and management/performance fees.
• Experience with closed-ended funds and reviewing LP/fee agreements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate NAV delivery and expense/income/capital activity calculations.
• Maintain NAV production controls and lead fund launches.
• Act as main client contact for fund accounting matters and build relationships.

About Your New Job

• As a Fund Accounting Supervisor, you will ensure the accurate and timely delivery of the Fund’s NAV, reviewing expense schedules, income calculations, capital activity calculations, and fund fee calculations.
• You will ensure established controls are maintained throughout the NAV production cycle and lead or support the successful preparation and implementation of new fund launches within your team.
• You will act as the main point of contact for clients on fund accounting matters relating to NAV production, building strong relationships with both clients and colleagues through effective query management and issue resolution.
• As a Fund Accounting Supervisor, you will train, coach, and mentor analysts on core tasks, systems, reporting, and procedures, while providing ongoing feedback and input on employee performance.

What Skills You Need

• 4+ years of experience in fund operations, including experience with alternative funds.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team, build strong working relationships, take ownership of assigned responsibilities, and support both peers and management.
• Experience analysing trial balances, general ledger entries, and management and performance fee calculations.
• Experience working with closed-ended fund structures and reviewing limited partnership agreements and fee agreements.
