Job summary

Holafly is seeking a Fullstack engineer to bridge high-performance UI with AI-enabled connectivity. You will build scalable React/TypeScript frontend and robust Node.js backends, delivering seamless experiences for travellers and businesses.

You’ll own API contracts with OpenAPI, practice TDD, and work with Tailwind and shadcn/ui to ensure accessible, maintainable code. Hybrid Ireland-based, 3–4 office visits per month.

Qualifications

• Proficient in React and TypeScript with modern state management.
• Experience building RESTful APIs with Node.js (Express, NestJS, etc.).
• Commitment to quality via TDD and Testing Library/Jest.
• Familiar with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui components.
• Exposure to AI features and enabling frontend–LLM interactions.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable UIs using React and TypeScript with high performance and accessibility.
• Develop and maintain Node.js RESTful APIs to support frontend needs.
• Document and define API contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Drive quality with TDD and comprehensive tests.
• Collaborate on AI-driven frontend features for improved customer journeys.
• Maintain design consistency with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui.
• Optimize full-stack performance through Node.js services and API integrations.
• Lead code quality via peer reviews and clean coding practices.
