Job summary
Craddock House Nursing Home in Naas, Co. Kildare, is hiring a full-time Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to deliver holistic, resident-centred care. You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility and follow care plans in a welcoming environment.
You will work day and night shifts; QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or an equivalent qualification is required, and prior elder-care experience is desirable. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.
Qualifications
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare full award or an equivalent qualification.
- Relevant Nursing/Allied Health/Healthcare qualification.
- Previous elder care experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
- Flexibility to work day and night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Deliver holistic, person-centred care while protecting residents' dignity and independence.
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
- Follow care plans and report changes to the nursing team.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
- Communicate compassionately with residents, families and colleagues.
- Support resident activities and events.
