Job summary

Fidelity Investments in Ireland (Galway) is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Asset Management Technology group. You will design, develop and implement features for the Equity Technology Research division, focusing on workflows around corporate financial disclosure events for Fidelity’s investment universe.

The role requires 3+ years in full stack engineering (Java/Spring Boot backend, Angular frontend), experience with AWS, CI/CD and Agile/Scrum.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent technology field.
3+ years in Full Stack Engineering with backend: Java, Spring Boot, microservices, API development (REST).
Frontend: Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Testing Frameworks.
Experience with production support and incident resolution.
2+ years’ AWS Cloud technologies exposure (EC2, S3, Lambdas, CloudWatch).
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum.
Familiarity with Generative AI coding practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and implement products for Fidelity Ireland’s Asset Management Technology group.
Collaborate with the Equity Technology Research division to support investment workflows.
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from development through deployment.
Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous improvement activities.
Provide production support and incident resolution as needed.
