Job summary

SMBC is seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Azure Developer to design, build and deploy enterprise-grade cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. You will work with React.js, Java Spring Boot, and TypeScript, shaping scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.

You will lead cross-functional teams, champion DevOps practices, and collaborate with product, QA, and Ops to deliver robust solutions in a hybrid work model in Tralee.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Azure or cloud-related certifications.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and Agile environments.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience in full stack roles.
• Expert-level skills in React.js, Java, and web application architecture.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Demonstrated experience with RESTful API development and microservices.
• Deep experience with Microsoft Azure services (APIM, Azure Functions, etc.).
• Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Experience with Agile development, CI/CD practices, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsibilities

Role Description

SMBC is seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Senior Full Stack Azure Developer to design, build and deploy enterprise-grade cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in Azure application development, React.js, Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js technologies, with a strong understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, DevOps practices and Agile delivery methodologies.

This role will report to the Executive Director of Corporate Banking Application Development

Role Objectives: Delivery
