Job summary

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Dublin is seeking a role focused on day-to-day implementation of activities supporting registration and processing of asylum seekers at Citywest Reception Centre. You will coordinate applicant flow, provide guidance, and ensure access to language support and mediation services, working under supervision to maintain safe, efficient reception operations.

Experience liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, UN agencies and NGOs.
Experience working with migrants, refugees and vulnerable groups.
Knowledge of Irish government authorities and asylum procedures in Ireland.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and facilitate applicant flow for screening, registration and biometric collection.
Provide frontline information, guidance and assistance to applicants.
Assist applicants facing barriers (language, literacy, digital, accessibility) and connect to mediation and interpretation.
Monitor operations, identify bottlenecks and contribute to service improvements.
Liaise with DJHAM, cultural mediators, interpreters and security for daily operations.
