Job summary

LMR Partners in Dublin is seeking a Technologist to join our Risk Tech team, building tools for front office risk management, simulations and portfolio analysis, and collaborating with Risk Managers and the Chief Risk Officer.

You will work with a modern stack (Java, TS/React, Python, Kafka, SQL Server, ClickHouse, AWS), learn about multiple asset classes, and contribute to AI-enabled tooling while supporting regulatory reporting and risk analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's (or equivalent) Degree in Science or similar discipline.
• Python knowledge and experience would be a benefit.
• SQL/RDBMS experience.
• Independent and self-driven mindset.
• Curiosity and a desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and extend existing Risk Technology capabilities for risk managers.
• Contribute to the strategic development of the Risk Technology platform.
• Enhance tooling with AI capabilities.
• Develop bespoke calculations for Risk Managers.
• Improve and support existing analytics.
• Support Investor and Regulatory Reporting.
