Job summary

Accenture's The Dock in Dublin seeks a Lead Front-End Developer to own user-facing features and the front-end experience across the product lifecycle, from design to deployment.

You will collaborate with product designers and managers to translate ideas into elegant, accessible UIs using JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern framework (React/Angular/Vue), while championing performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.

As a Lead Front-End Developer you will:

• Be a pivotal member of our team, owning the development of user-facing features and the overall front-end experience.
• You will collaborate with product designers and managers to turn ideas into tangible features, crafting elegant, accessible, and responsive user interfaces.
• Your role will involve navigating the entire software development lifecycle, from initial design and prototyping to deployment and ongoing maintenance, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for our users.
• You’ll also be instrumental in shaping our technical direction, participating in architecture discussions, and helping to choose the right tools and technologies for the job.

Desired experience & skills:

• Proven experience delivering modern web applications in agile, highly collaborative environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3, and at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, Vue, or equivalent).
• Solid experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful back-end services, with a strong focus on accessibility, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and modern front-end build tools.
• Good understanding of design systems, component-driven development, and UX principles; cloud, containerisation, and GenAI exposure are a plus.
