Job summary

Re-turn is hiring an FP&A Analyst to support the Finance function of Ireland's Deposit Return Scheme. The role will build and maintain financial models, produce management reporting and forecasts, and deliver data-driven insights to support operational and strategic decision making.

You will act as a key analytics resource to the Senior FP&A Manager and senior stakeholders. You will deliver monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and contribute to audits and process

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related discipline.
• 5–8 years FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance or treasury experience.
• Experience building robust financial models and producing management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and validate detailed financial models for forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis and business case assessment.
• Produce monthly and quarterly management reporting: variance analysis, KPI dashboards, commentary and board packs (drafts for Senior Manager review).
• Prepare rolling forecasts and update assumptions; run scenario and sensitivity analyses to inform decisions.
• Support cash flow forecasting, short term liquidity planning and basic treasury activities (bank balances, cash pooling, short term investments) in collaboration with Finance.
• Reconcile model outputs to accounting records and ensure model controls, documentation and versioning are in place.
• Automate reporting and model processes (Excel and BI tools) to improve timeliness and accuracy.
• Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and commercial insight for product, pricing and investment decisions.
• Liaise with BI/IT teams to ensure data quality, build dashboards (Power BI) and embed analytics into business processes.
• Support capital adequacy inputs and assist with stress testing and risk scenario preparations.
• Provide clear, concise presentations of analysis and recommendations to the Senior FP&A Manager and other stakeholders.
