Job summary

nineDots.io is seeking a Founding Engineer in Dublin to lead the development of an AI-assisted, self-service AdTech platform. You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with the founder, and shape the engineering culture in a fast-growing Dublin team.

This senior IC role is hands-on, with autonomy over product design, architecture, and delivery. Expect hybrid work (3 days onsite) and significant equity ownership as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Shipping production software with a strong track record.
• Owning problems from problem to solution, not just tickets.
• Thinking through why a feature is built and how it helps users.
• Starting from a problem with incomplete specs.
• Comfortable making technical decisions and articulating reasoning.
• Understanding high-throughput, low-latency system considerations.
• Experience with AI coding tools to improve development.
• Hands-on contributor with influence over product and tech direction.

Responsibilities

• Owning features from idea through production and ongoing iteration.
• Turning direction into reliable software used by real customers.
• Developing configuration, reporting and self-service experiences.
• Building AI-assisted workflows that simplify complex processes.
• Extending integrations with advertising demand and supply partners.
• Working directly with customers and publishers on product challenges.
• Contributing to architecture and wider technical decisions.
• Establishing engineering standards and culture as the Dublin team grows.
• Championing AI-assisted and agentic development practices.
