Job summary

EY’s UKI AI & Data team seeks a Forward Deployed AI Engineer Manager in Dublin to translate AI ambition into enterprise-grade solutions embedded with client operations. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams to design, build, and deploy AI systems across regulated environments.

You will partner with EY Partners and client stakeholders, delivering scalable AI architectures and ensuring governance, security, and performance while driving business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in AI/ML engineering with data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Deep applied AI/ML mastery: NLP/transformers, generative models, reinforcement learning.
• LLMOps: CI/CD for ML, drift monitoring, governance.

Responsibilities

• Turn complex client problems into AI-enabled solutions.
• Define MVP scope, data needs, and evaluation criteria with stakeholders.
• Build prototypes using LLMs, RAG, fine-tuning, and traditional ML when needed.
• Design AI architectures: data ingestion, embeddings, vector stores, model selection.
• Integrate AI components with client systems and optimize latency and cost.
• Deploy solutions in cloud/hybrid/on-prem and ensure security/compliance.
